About Colombo City
The Lions
Club of Colombo City was extended by the Lions Club of
Kotahena during the Presidency of Lion P. Thiagarajah,
and the extension Chairman was late Lion PR. Muthusamy,
and Lion Sivaraman. In the year 1982,
The Club stated with a membership 25 and the Charter
President was Lion S.Shanmugarajah, Charter Secretary
was Late Lion V.G.Vijayan MJF, Charter Treasurer was
Lion S.C Palanisamy.
The Club received its Charter in the 1983 when Lion
S.Soosaipillai was the President,
Late Lion V.G. Vijay a continued to serve as Secretary
and Lion S.Jeyarajan functioned as the Treasurer.
The Lions Club of Colombo City is now in the 27th Year
of existence, the current President of the Club is Lion
S.Vasudevan MJF, Secretary Lion Dr. M.Kesawarajah,
Treasurer is Lion Gordon Nadesan, and the Membership
Chairperson is Lion S. Pushparajan PMJF. |
